Barion – according to the legal regulations governing us – applies top-up, withdrawal and transaction limit, which are tailored to the customer’s level of identity:„Waiver” level: If you register as an individual and you do not provide any of your personal data but your name and password, then you get into the “waiver” category; this means that your current total balance may not exceed 45,000 HUF/120 EUR/3,200 CZK/140 USD, and you can use your wallet up to this limit in each month. Another restriction is that you cannot transfer money to others at this level, and the maximum total amount of your withdrawals in a year is 260,000 HUF/800 EUR/20,000 CZK/800 USD. The “waiver” level is not available for organizations.“Simplified due diligence” (SDD) level: If you, as an individual, fill in the entire datasheet when you register or later in the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/ModifyData" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My Wallet/Profile</a> menu item, or, if you register as an organization, then you get to the simplified due diligence level. At this level, your total maximum Barion balance may not be more than 300,000 HUF/900 EUR/22,500 CZK/900 USD, and you can withdraw maximum 260,000 HUF/800 EUR/20,000 CZK/800 USD per year and you can transfer money to anybody.“Normal due diligence” (NDD) level: To get rid of all restrictions, undergo a comprehensive due diligence process.You can continuously monitor your limits in your Barion Wallet under the My wallet, then Limits menu. No matter what currency you keep on your balance, it will be aggregated when checking limits. If you accidentally exceeded any of your limits and your wallet, therefore, gets suspended or you just wanted that these limits do not apply to you, request a wallet verification.Important! If you have a shop, but reached the limits, the Barion Smart Gateway is still works smoothly and continuously, the amounts of the transactions keep coming in your wallet.

What limits does Barion have and why are these necessary?

The balance of individuals with an incomplete profile may not exceed 45.000 HUF / 120 EUR / 3.200 CZK / 140 USD. For organisations and individuals with a completely filled out profile - but not verified yet, i.e. until they did not perform the Normal due diligence proccess – the maximum balance can be 300&nbsp;000 Ft/900 EUR/22 500 CZK/900 USD. You can continuously monitor your limits in your Barion Wallet under the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/Limits" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My wallet/Limits</a> menu item.

What does top-up limit mean?

If you have not undergone a comprehensive identification previously, then the total amount you may withdraw from your Barion Wallet in a year is maximum 260,000 HUF/800 EUR/20,000 CZK/800 USD, i.e. this is the maximum total amount you can transfer to your bank account. In the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/Limits" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My wallet/Limits</a> menu item you can monitor your limits.

What does withdrawal limit mean?

If you have not undergone a comprehensive due diligence process yet, then you may start transactions from your Barion balance in a maximum amount of 3,600,000 HUF/11,000 EUR/275,000 CZK/11,000 USD within a period of 24 hours. In the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/Limits" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My wallet/Limits</a> menu item you can continuously monitor your limits.

What does transaction limit mean?

If you, as an individual, do not fill in all the fields of the form, the current value of your balance may not reach 45,000 HUF/120 EUR/3,200 CZK/140 USD according to the legislation as in effect from time to time. If it still reaches or exceeds the limit set by the law, then your wallet will be automatically suspended.

What does the balance limit in case of incomplete profile mean? (Waiver level)?

After logging in to your Barion Wallet, you can see the Limits under the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/Limits" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My wallet/Limits</a> menu item in the menu on the left.

Where can I see the status of my limits?

Your Barion Wallet will become automatically suspended if any of the limits in the system is exceeded.If you are an individual with an incomplete profile, and reach the limit in your wallet, your wallet will become suspended until you provide your personal data in the <a href="https://secure.barion.com/Account/ModifyData" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">My Wallet/Profile</a> menu item.Or, if you, for instance, initiate a withdrawal (bank transfer) higher than the annual limit from your wallet with the “Simplified due diligence” level, or your balance is higher than allowed, your wallet will remain suspended until the completion of the comprehensive due diligence process.If your wallet has been suspended due to reaching any of the regulatory limits please start a video identification proccess.To start a video identification you need to fill out all the data, then save them. After it, you can ask for the video identification.Important!
