Why does the Barion name appear as payee in case of bank transfers?
Barion is an electronic money institution. The Barion e-money accounts are not payment accounts; they, therefore, do not have a bank account number; the payee of the transfer will, therefore, always see Barion Payment Inc. as transferring party. It is, therefore, the reference field that can be used to provide unique identifiers (e.g. name, tax identification number), which your partner can use to definitely identify the transfer. It is, therefore, important that you properly fill in the reference field!
