A card company prerequisite for accepting bank card payments online is that the accepting merchant be the owner of the webpage as well as the domain name where the payment is made. Barion will only sign up a merchant who created a Barion Wallet for their business, and is the operator of their webshop, as well as the proprietor of the webshop's domain name.
Exceptions:
The domain name is registered to the individual who has full ownership of the merchant's business.
The domain name is owned by the parent company of the merchant's business.
The domain name is registered as an affiliate of the group that has a share of over 50% in the merchant's company.
The applicable domain registrar's record needs to be presented as proof of ownership.
Depending on the top-level domain, the following domain registrars' records are accepted:
If the relevant registrar doesn't indicate one of the above exceptions, or have your name, or the name of the business/organization that you control as the owner or user of the domain name, upload as a remark
- the invoice that proves you've started the registration process for the domain name, or
- a screenshot no older than 30 days of your account on the registrar's portal
that display one of the exceptions listed, or the name of your business, the domain name, and the domain registration's date of expiry.
If the domain name isn't currently registered to your business, start the transfer process as soon as you can, and upload a remark with proof of this.
